Want to be successful? Want to have a great future ahead? Worked hard for goals but didn’t get what you deserved? If you are continuously asking these questions to yourself and not getting any answers, then don’t worry I have all the answer for your questions.

As our ancestors said “for achieving something you must have to lose something”, we all know this quote very well but if we closely look at ourselves, we know that our bad habits are one of the biggest hurdles of our path. Realizing and improving these habits can solve most of our problems.

That’s why I have listed seven habits that don’t let you win in your life race. By uninstalling these seven habits from your lifestyle you can easily cross the hurdles which are coming in your success path. So without wasting more time let’s start the listing of tose 7 Habits:

1. Comparison:

Since childhood, our parents have compared our performance with others’ and from then, that mentality has stuck in our minds too. We compare ourselves with others with no logic or clue. We need to understand that everyone is doing his/ her own fieldwork. You can’t take the position of a Carpenter and Carpenter cannot take your position. Carpenter is good at his work and you are good in yours. So for God’s sake stop comparing yourself with others. In this way, you will only hurt yourself. You are precious. Life is precious. Don’t waste the time on comparing it.

2. Overthinking:

Most of us think about friends’, societies’ judgement so much that we forget ourselves. Why we are thinking so much about society and its so-called “status”? One thing which is clear is that- society will never ever appreciate you for your success too! You got failure,it’s yours,you got success, it’s yours. So stop running behind success for your so-called image. After all at the end we have to die alone. Your social status can not stop you from dying.

3. Fear of Failure:

“Ohh! What will happen if I fail again?” Believe me, this is the worst fear ever–Fear of Failure. In today’s generation, many youngsters do suicide because they can’t handle this fear – fear of failure. But do you ever think what actually happens if we fail? Nothing! No one can put you in prison because you failed. It’s your hypertension that encourages your fear. If you never think about outcomes of failure nothing will happen. After all Failure and Success are all part of life.

4. Blaming:

“This time my luck was not in my favour”; “maybe god wasn’t by my side”. We often make such excuses in our lifetime. And this is so funny and surprising at the same time, that we blame Luck and God for our failure and problems. We don’t even spare God! If you continuously blame God, Luck, and others for your problems than trust me your problems will never end!

No-one is responsible for your mistakes except you. So stop blaming others and start working on yourself.

5. Procrastination:

 We often think that we will do the work the next day and boom that next day never comes in your life! And we then do overthink about it and make our path timider. Your acts make you under confident and your life a hell complicated because that tomorrow will come only in your dreams. So stop delaying the work. Remember more you delayed the work more complicated your life will be.

6. Lifestyle:

“Successful people don’t just drift off to the top. Getting there requires focused action, personal discipline and lots of energy every day to make things happen” – Jack Canfield

Your attitude determines your altitude. In today’s world, everyone hasn’t got something or the other, but the thing which most of us have is – a bad lifestyle. We go late to bed, wake up late and all the perfect routine gets disturbed. Having a structured start to your day instead of rushing to make up for last time helps to eliminate stress and bring positivity in your life. So it’s important to create a morning ritual and do things according to time. These small steps will keep you encouraged in your path.


7. Lack of Self- Belief:

Failed in your goal? – Yes, so what happen to stand up and fight back. Maybe you fail again-no problem just don’t give up. Try till your last breath. It doesn’t matter how many times you fail. The important thing is that how many times you stand up again and fight back for your goal. One day you will succeed. Because hard work pays off. Also, you should do is small and small hard work daily because these everyday small steps will decide your future.

If you closely look at all these habits then you can understand that almost half of our problems are because of our mind-set! And the other half problems are related to others and society. We can’t change society, we are part of it. But we can change ourselves. If we want to become successful then we don’t have to think about others’ opinions. In this way, half of our problems would be solved and the other half problems will be solved by believing in yourselves and not giving up. If you eradicate these seven habits from your inner self then no one can stop you from being successful. Take time to learn more about yourself and find actionable ways to optimize your energy and time for a more successful and happier life.
