The world is surrounded by negativity all around. We are equipped with every possible trap that steals our mental peace. Most of all is ANGER. It may be an emotion that we cannot evade, but people today are voracious rulers of this particular emotion. Particularly, anger is a side-effect of negativities around a person. Sometimes, due to over-work or a stressful day, people lose their temper unnecessarily and unknowingly. Some people need a doctor to help them overcome this venomous emotion. Above all, anger-related issues can be seen in almost every home today. It is like a power outage for the emotional area of your brain.
Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regretAmbrose Bierce
People regret after being too rude to someone they deal with. Sometimes, people unintentionally get entangled with baseless fights. It can be due to their inbuilt monotonous behaviour or their inability to adapt with people around. It should be noted that more than 70% of teenagers in today’s generation are likely to face the problem of anger. Obviously, the reasons are vast. Parents, school, friends, peers play a major role in inculcating anger in them which ultimately breaks the chain of patience. Definitely, this becomes a major talk of concern as it can affect the health of children. What is the real reason behind anger? Why do people entrap themselves in this vicious cycle? There are some beliefs that need to be looked upon to get rid of this emotion of self-destruction.
1.EMOTIONS AND ANGER:-
Anger is a secondary emotion. Hormonal studies claim that our “Fight or Flight System” plays a hefty role in increasing our levels of anxiety, displeasure, rage, fear, embarrassment, guilt, frustration, sadness, shame, worry leading to anger. Furthermore, the most dangerous are the emotionless people who never deal with any kind of attachments in their life. They themselves are the source of destruction because emotions should tend to be poured out. These people turn their anger inwards. An inexpressive person cannot deal with a quick-tempered person and fails to imply anything in return. Hence, these types of people find their way in isolation and then in depression. Anger and people are like best friends in today’s atmosphere. Some people even bottle up their emotions and explode visibly. Withdrawal and depression are symptoms that can impact people and ruin their positive attitude towards society and life.
2.WHY DO PEOPLE GET ANGRY?
Short-tempered personalities are often seen as unhappy with the way they are living. Contrary to calm and composed minds, a short-tempered mind can destroy peace and evolve as a demon in later stages of life. Almost every single person can get angry for the little things in life. Sometimes, we get angry to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Parents and elders do get angry with their children for their better upliftments in life. Indeed, anger builds up disappointments. Some people have an insight into beating and hurting others to get what they want. Clearly, this mindset is a case of unnecessary disputes between communities and society. Anger is an unpredictable emotion. It pops out only when a person senses something in contrast to their own wishes. In order to fulfill their unjustified wishes, people can take their temper to an extreme level which leads to broken harmony all around.
3.RELATIONSHIPS AND ANGER:-
Anger diminishes the medium through which relationships are bonded. When two individuals are suffering because of anger issues, they need attention to their attitude. Once, partners are in an angry mode, they not only disrupt their lifestyle but also rapidly go from friends to elders. Thus, they lose their own emotional strengths. Divorce cases and mutual disagreements affect happy family life. Alternatively, anger in relationships cannot be neglected. Each partner when angry employs a response and activates the other partner’s similar predictable reaction. Importantly, understanding each other’s mindset is difficult but never impossible. Anger can break off a couple from living peacefully. Sometimes, it leads to unexpected murders and crime scenes. People also get to earn disrespect from society for a lifetime due to their unwanted casual anger issues. Furthermore, it is necessary to settle things before it’s too late!
4.HOW TO MANAGE ANGER?
Anger acts as a demon if it is not controlled properly. To start from, always think before you act or speak anything to anyone. Definitely, it will help you to solve issues with a calm mind and also help to avoid disputes with others. Meditation and practicing some mind-related exercises help you to gulp down your anger and makes you feel light. Decide it with your elders and family altogether. Obviously, holding grudges has a major impact on relationships. Listen to your partner. Collaborate and communicate. Speak your mind without being offended. Stop unusual arguments. Being a fun-loving person definitely has the benefit of keeping away from anger. Be a light-hearted person. Learn to smile whole-heartedly. Let others smile by your actions. Learn to seek help in times of need. Try to be around good friends and spend more time with your family.
Indeed, sometimes life is hard without spitting out the anger in ourselves. But at the same time, it needs time and patience to cure the disaster coming up. Stop being affected by contradictions. Compromise according to situations. Face the emotion with a positive mind. Anger should never be used to bully others. It should be used whenever necessary. Learn to live life with a cheerful outlook without any displeasure. Furthermore, life will be very easy without holding any grudges or complaints about anyone!
